As I'm sure you are all aware HiBid had a server outage Wednesday night in the middle of our auction's live close. I have worked with HiBid to resolve this situation in the most equitable way possible. When the server failed HiBid and I placed the auction into a "paused" status. This stopped lots from closing while bidders were unable to access the sale.
We have closed out all the lots that ended prior to the outage. While you may have received outbid notices on some of them, those later bids, that came in overnight or early today once the servers were back up, will be removed and the winning bidder at the time the lot originally closed will remain the winning bidder. All lots that closed or were scheduled to close after the servers failed have been reopened for bidding. On those lots the bids received once the servers were restored will be honored.
The live close will restart from lot number 2999 through the end of the sale beginning tomorrow, Friday February 13th, starting at 7pm EST. Pre-bidding is available now for those lots.
Thank you for your patience. Server outages are a concern for any person using internet based interactions, occasional system issues are unavoidable. Thank you for your understanding about this situation.
Sincerely,
Matt "Tank" Brocklehurst
